Cuts could mean 1.7 million kids lose health insurance

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took to MomsRising.org’s blog on the Huffington Post yesterday to warn that the House-passed budget plan could take away health insurance for American kids. Through proposed cuts to Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program, 1.7 million needy children could lost coverage, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
