Early Childhood Action Day

Child advocates, including our member Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children, will gather at the Pennsylvania statehouse today to support early education programs. While the country remains gripped in budget hysteria, these child advocates will remind legislators of the value of pre-K, child care, Head Start and full-day kindergarten.

We often talk about how important it is to invest in children very early. And we’re not alone in this: Nobel Laureate economist James Heckman has said, “Investments in high-quality early education programs have the highest rate of return of any social investment.” Follow Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children on Twitter to get updates on child policy and how you can help!
