Generations United: Social Security more than just retirement

Our colleagues at Generations United have been tireless advocates of the Social Security program. Though the federal program has been targeted for cuts recently by President Obama’s debt commission, Generations United wants to help people better understand the program in a panel discussion called “Social Security: What’s at Stake for Children, Youth, and Grandfamilies.”

Generations United wants to elevate the debate around Social Security by showing that it’s not just about retirement. Children are big winners in Social Security, too.
