How Medicaid helps Utah children
About two-thirds of the recipients of Utah’s Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program are children, and they can’t afford cuts to it now. A policy analyst for our Utah member explained the importance of these programs to youth in the state in a nicely written op-ed yesterday.

“Kids and adults from every community in our state are turning to Medicaid and CHIP because a tough economy has left no part of Utah untouched,” writes Lincoln Nehring, a senior health policy analyst for Voices for Utah Children.
