Inequity found for immigrant children in Colorado

This month Voices member Colorado Children’s Campaign released a new report that finds gaps exist for children of immigrant families. The title, “Investing in a Bright Future for All of Colorado’s Kids: The Importance of Providing Early Childhood Care and Education to Children in Immigrant Families,” really says it all. Immigrant families in Colorado are more likely to face poverty and have low educational achievement, and only improved early learning programs can help them have a fair shot.

You can read the report online. And don’t forget to befriend Colorado Children’s Campaign on Facebook for more timely updates on the welfare of Colorado’s kids.
