Tell Congress: Close racial gaps in educational achievement!

The next generation is much more racially diverse than adults now, and signals a more colorful America to come. In fact, The Pew Research Center estimates that by 2050 less than half the population will be White.

But unfortunately, America keeps leaving a lot of children of color behind. New test score data on 4th grade reading from the Department of Education shows that the achievement gap continues for Black and Hispanic students. More must be done for these kids.
