The child nutrition bill needs your voice!

Congress will take up the child nutrition bill (S.3307) soon, and we need your voice to help millions of kids get healthy meals!  More than 17 million families live at risk of hunger in America, and this important bill will help provide meals that are more available and more nutritious.

But our Capitol Hill contacts are saying the bill is in danger of falling to the wayside.  With only a few more weeks left in this session of Congress, this may be our only chance to pass a bill of critical importance to children and families.

Please call your Representative now at 1-866-277-7617 (they can connect you to your Representative’s specific office).  Send the message:

• Vote yes on the child nutrition bill!
• Although food stamp money may have to pay for some of it, we may not have another opportunity to bolster child nutrition.
• With both child malnutrition and obesity rising in America, our children deserve a straight up or down vote on this important bill.

We need as many calls as possible today and tomorrow to show Congress we’re serious about healthy meals for kids!
