Today is 49th anniversary of the “I have a dream” speech!

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character,” said Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 49 years ago today. ABC has the transcript of the whole speech online.

On Facebook, the Race Matters Institute asks, “What does this speech mean to you? How far do you think our country has come since 1963?” Share your thoughts!
