Voices accepts “Secretary’s Challenge”

A great win for children was achieved in February 2009, when the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) was renewed.  CHIP helps provide health care for the children of families with incomes too high for Medicaid but too low to buy private insurance.

With the renewal, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleeen Sebelius issued a challenge to policymakers and health providers to help low-income children get benefits.  Just as Voices was instrumental in the renewal of CHIP, we now proudly accept the Secretary’s Challenge.  Check out a video of Secretary Sebelius thanking Voices for helping spread wellness to children in need.
