Will YOU #Speak4Kids?
It’s a crucial time for child well-being, so why are the 2012 candidates silent on child and family issues? As families struggle with unemployment, inadequate education for their children, and lack of health care, child advocates demand that the election talk about investments in the next generation.
SparkAction is doing something about it with their push to raise awareness of child issues. They’ve joined with Bella and Jose, two teens from California, to petition Ann Romeny and Michelle Obama to talk about kids’ issues in their speeches at the upcoming party conventions. The eyes of the nation will be on these events, as Barack Obama and Mitt Romney formally launch their tickets and the campaign heats up. The California Endowment’s Health Happens Here campaign has joined in to help push the petition to 30,000 signatures — at more than 15,000 now, they’re halfway there!
Do you think issues like child health, education and economic stability have been ignored? Sign the petition and help get child well-being a spotlight at the conventions!

You would be wrong if you thought that way. If I have Quality, affordable, health care shoved down my throat, I promise you, I’ll visit my doctor as often as I can, leaving you unable to make an appointment. Where will you be then?
